I want to know about Chia seeds and basil (sabja) seeds which are good and why? Did any body used them and when to use….

Chia seeds are good to eat if taken in limited. Its rich in fiber, protein, omega-3 fatty acids. They help in weight loss and help reduce inflammation, blood cholesterol.

But Note : dry chia seeds swell up and absorb about 10–12 times their weight in liquid when they are exposed to water. These gelling properties can be useful when it comes to cooking or baking, but they have risk, If they’re not soaked before you eat them, they may expand and cause a blockage, increasing your risk of choking.

Some side-effects: depends on persons are gastrointestinal distress, itching, and swelling after eating them.
Chia seeds can lower blood sugar and blood pressure also.

finally if you eat them in moderation, chia seeds can be an excellent addition to a health.

but at present don’t give to babies /toddlers.

*Basil seeds.*

Basil seeds are added in desserts, sherbet, kheer, icecream, and falloda.
When soaked in water the basil seeds become gelatinous.

👉🏻basil seeds helps in Blood Sugar Regulation.

👉🏻 Basil seeds are also used to relieve stomach cramps, flatulence, constipation and indigestion.

👉🏻It’s suggested that the fiber in the soaked seeds has the effect of making you feel more full. This could help reduce your appetite and assist with weight loss.
